What happens in an acne consultation?
An acne practitioner will initially see you for a consultation, where they will recommend, advise and discuss with you the options available for treatment. A combination of clinically proven skin peels, products, or laser based treatment called Isolaz have been selected to achieve the most rewarding results. If you have severe acne, you will be referred to a doctor, who may prescribe you medication.
What do the acne treatments do?
Usually a combination of treatments are used to maximise results. Our chosen skin peels help to reduce redness, excess oils, break-outs, restore the skin and increase new skin turnover. Glycolic, Pyruvic and Salicylic peels are all used in treatment for acne, depending on the grade given to the acne. Isolaz a laser uniquely combining a vacuum and painless broadband light to clear the dirt and kill unwanted bacteria is also a great treatment specifically designed to treat acne.
sk:n have taught me so much about how to control my acne. I can't thank you enough.
