Dr Reeya Patel qualified at the presitigious Imperial College London with a distinction in medicine and surgery and a BSc Honours in Medical Sciences with Management at Imperial College Business school. Since qualifying she has been training in minimally invasive surgery for bowel cancer and performing elective general surgery procedures including minor skin lesion surgery and emergency trauma surgery.

She has worked within the London and West Midlands deaneries and throughout her training she has been actively involved in clinical research and training having published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.
