She fulfilled her junior doctor placements in Glasgow gaining valuable experience in a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.
To broaden her experience, Katie moved to Australia where she worked in an emergency department in Brisbane, Queensland.
Katie returned to the UK to complete her GP training. This involved working in various hospital departments including paediatrics, general medicine and general surgery.
She qualified as a GP in 2022 and currently works in a busy practice in the centre of Edinburgh.
Katie has a keen interest in cosmetic dermatology and is able to draw on her experience as a GP to offer an effective and holistic approach to skin health, always aiming to achieve the best results for her clients.
