Mr Saghir is a GMC registered Plastic Surgery Registrar, currently working in the NHS at The Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. He graduated from King’s College London with an Anatomy BSc (Hons) in 2014. Shortly after in 2016, Mr Saghir graduated with an MBChB from the University of Sheffield. In 2018 he completed a Post Graduate certificate in Health Research from the University of Leeds.

Mr Saghir started his training in Plastic Surgery in 2018 and became a Member of Royal College of Surgeons, England (MRCS) in 2020. He currently holds a national training number in Plastic Surgery based in North-East of England. He is a registered member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He has worked in Plastic Surgery in London, Yorkshire, Manchester and Newcastle.

Mr Saghir has published in surgical textbooks, peer-reviewed high impact journals and has won awards for National Oral Presentations within the field of Plastic Surgery.

His area of specialist interest is head & neck, breast and facial reconstruction and aesthetics. His expertise includes a wide range of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures including mole assessment, excision. Anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
