Here's what our clients have to say...
I went into the Glasgow clinic for microdermabrasion with Jade. I explained my skin hadnt been great recently and I wasnt feeling the benefit of my last few sessions. She actively listened and suggested an alternative treatment and follow up care. She was superb! She was very knowledgeable and professional. Two days later and already my skin is looking miles better! Thank you Jade!

Microdermabrasion – what to expect?
The technique involves propelling the microcrystals across the skin’s surface, removing only the top layer of skin cells. This technology reveals new cells creating a healthy glow. The epidermal layers of the skin are rejuvenated leading to collagen production and plumper skin.
Microdermabrasion is a progressive procedure, which means that after the first session your skin will feel softer and you may see a very subtle improvement. However, to gain visible improvement we generally recommend a course of sessions because additional treatments cause an increase in circulation within the dermis and newer, healthier skin cells are produced.
Is microdermabrasion painful?
One of the benefits of microdermabrasion is that it’s virtually pain free. You will feel a subtle suction as the vacuum is placed over the skin and perhaps a tingling sensation. Your skin may look slightly pink after the treatment but this will subside within a few hours. The crystals used are hard enough to disrupt tired skin cells that cause dull looking skin, but small enough not to do any damage or cause discomfort or pain. The only real side effect is a possible temporary redness of the skin, which soon fades.
Microdermabrasion – how long to see results?
You will notice improvement in your overall complexion from your first microdermabrasion treatment.
How long do the results from microdermabrasion last?
Your skin will look and feel smoother immediately after treatment, with results lasting for up to three months. For best results, a course of microdermabrasion treatments is advised.
How many sessions of microdermabrasion will I need?
Your practitioner will discuss your individual treatment needs with you at your consultation, including the expected number of treatments and treatment intervals depending on your type of skin damage. A course of treatment will give the best results.
Is microdermabrasion safe?
Going to a regulated and qualified practitioner is the best way to treat your skin condition safely and effectively. Our microdermabrasion treatment is carried out in highly clinical environments and the treatment is delivered according to strict medical protocols, which means you can be rest assured that the procedures are very safe.
How much does microdermabrasion cost?
Microdermabrasion costs from £65 for a single treatment and exact costs are confirmed after a consultation. A course of treatment is usually recommended for the best results.
What to expect after microdermabrasion?
You can return to your normal routine straight after your microdermabrasion treatment and can even reapply your make-up right away. It’s important to protect your newly rejuvenated skin from damaging elements by wearing an SPF daily to protect your skin. Your practitioner will be able to advise on how you can best maintain the results of microdermabrasion. Other existing medical conditions should be highlighted during your consultation and advice will be given on an individual basis.
Can microdermabrasion help with pigmentation?
A course of microdermabrasion treatment can help to reduce unwanted pigmentation marks caused by acne or sun damage.
Which is better microdermabrasion or a peel?
Microdermabrasion or a peel both help to reveal younger, fresher-looking skin. However, the main difference between the two treatments is the application process. With microdermabrasion, the treatment uses a wand, while peels are applied directly to the skin and can vary in strength. The treatment that you choose will depend on your requirements and the results that you want to get.
Does microdermabrasion reduce pores?
One of the benefits of microdermabrasion is that it can help to minimise and reduce pores.
