Here's what our clients have to say...
When I had laser hair removal done at another clinic they covered me with a towel so that only the body section to be lasered was uncovered. It helped me to stay warm! Otherwise I have no complaints with anything else.

Laser Hair Removal Frequently Asked Questions
How long does laser hair removal last for, is it permanent?
Clients can see a permanent result of up to 90% reduction in hair growth from laser hair removal treatment. The success of results and permanence are dependent on the hair colour being treated. With enough sessions, we recommend a course of eight, permanent hair reduction can be achieved!
After a course of treatment, the hair will be finer, lighter, and much slower growing back, with the additional benefit of smoother skin in the areas treated. Say goodbye to ingrown hairs too! As hair growth is impacted by many factors including hormonal changes, top up treatments after your course may be needed to ensure long-lasting results!
How much does laser hair removal cost?
Laser hair removal costs vary, dependent on the size of the area being treated, and the number of sessions you are having. Compared to the cost of a lifetimeās shaving or waxing, laser hair removal sessions are great value for money. You can discuss prices for your desired treatment at a free no obligations consultation!
Does Laser hair removal hurt?
Laser hair removal does hurt initially, as does waxing! As you have more sessions, less follicles are targeted and so the pain reduces! Laser Hair Removal pain is described as feeling like the flick of an elastic band.
Our treatments will never harm your skin. There may be a little redness post-treatment, but this will fade within 24 hours.
Is Laser hair removal safe?
Absolutely, laser hair removal is safe when carried out by professionals. The laser targets only the hair follicle, leaving the surrounding skin unharmed, skin may be slightly red for 24 hours after treatment.
Laser hair removal at sk:n is never unsafe. We have a Medical Standards Team who set out strict protocols and audit the clinics every month to ensure we follow every procedure correctly. Places offering treatment without proper safety and protocols in place may be unsafe.
How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?
Our expert practitioners will be able to advise how many sessions would be needed for your desired results at a free no obligations consultation. We generally recommend a minimum of 8 sessions per area of laser hair removal to see good results! Potentially followed by top up sessions depending on your hair growth, to maintain hair reduction.
How long should I leave between laser hair removal sessions?
Sessions should be spaced 4-6 weeks apart. This is to ensure we are lasering the hair follicles at the right part of their growth cycle. Your practitioner will advise you on your treatment schedule to ensure optimum results.
How do I need to prepare for laser hair removal sessions?
Whilst undergoing laser hair removal, you shouldnāt wax, pluck or use hair removal creams. You can still shave the areas though! 12-24 hours before a session you should shave the areas which are going to be lasered.
Whilst receiving laser hair removal you should also avoid tanning and using fake tan as this will impact treatment.
Can lighter hair be lasered?
Hair has to have enough pigment to attract the laser light in order to work. Whilst any skin type or colour can be treated with our lasers, it is the colour of the hair which will determine whether an area can be treated. Our expert practitioners will be able to advise whether laser hair removal will work on your hair type during a free no obligations consultation.
Does laser hair removal work for everyone?
Laser hair removal can be carried out on any skin type, from fair skin to dark! Our lasers are adjusted to work with your exact hair and skin type combination! As long as the hair you want treating has enough pigment in it to attract the laser light, treatment is possible. Unlike IPL and electrolysis, laser hair removal is also able to be carried out on all areas of the body including hard-to-reach areas!
Which areas can have laser hair removal treatment?
The lasers we use for laser hair removal are very precise so can be used to remove hair on the face, underarms, bikini line / Brazilian, back, chest, neck, hands, legs, feet ā anywhere on the body where the hair has enough pigment to attract the laser light, even very sensitive areas.
