Why should you invest in a course of laser hair removal?
There is some science behind having a course of Laser Hair Removal. It should be carried out at certain intervals due to the life cycle of the hair. There are three stages of hair growth – Anagen, Catagen and Telogen.
Successful laser hair removal treatments need the hair to be in the Anagen stage of growth as this is the only time the hair follicle is attached to the bulb.
The laser overheats the follicle and the bulb, which will stop future regrowth. Roughly 10-20% of your body hairs will be in the Anagen stage at any one time, which is the optimum time for the laser to strike.
We recommend a course of 8 treatments because at any one time your hair are in different stages of the growth cycle so although all hair in an area are treated in one session, not all the hair follicles will be successfully retarded.
Having a course of treatments at regular intervals means that we have multiple chances to catch those hairs. Discuss the right treatment course for you with our highly trained practioners in clinic by booking a consultation.
|Treatment||Single Treatment From||Course of 8 Price per Treatment From|
|Women's full body*||£655.00||
|Men's full body*||£765.00||
What are the benefits of opting for a course as opposed to single treatments?
A course of treatments will give you the best results. Depending on the area, you will wait 4-6 weeks in between treatments.
With hair growth, it is really important to carry out the treatments at specific intervals to give you optimum results.

Does It Matter Where I Go For Laser Hair Removal Treatment?
The highly trained practitioners at sk:n will always provide effective laser hair removal treatment tailored to your skin type.
Does Laser Hair Removal Hurt?
Laser Hair Removal is described as feeling like the flick of an elastic band. The more sessions you have, the less pain you feel as there are fewer hair follicles targeted.
How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?
The laser emits light energy, which is absorbed by melanin in the hair. If in the right stage of growth, this causes the hair follicle to overheat and damages the bulb, preventing regrowth. The process is called photothermolysis.
How Long Does Laser Hair Removal Last?
Most of our clients see a permanent result of up to 90% reduction in hair growth. Results are dependent on hair type and colour and permanent hair reduction that lasts can be achieved.
Is Laser Hair Removal Safe?
Absolutely, laser hair removal is safe. The laser targets only the hair follicle, leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. You may experience some redness, but this should subside within 24 hours.
Is Laser Hair Removal Right For Me?
Treatment is safe on all skin types and colours, so it’s suitable for anyone looking for permanent, silky-smooth results. As the laser is attracted to the pigment of the hair follicle, the only consideration is whether your unwanted hair has enough pigment to be treated. Your practitioner will discuss this in your free consultation.
