Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Will It Last?

Close Icon

The treatment is semi-permanent. In some cases a thread vein may only shrink and be rendered invisible but isn’t completely obliterated. If this was to happen, the thread vein may reappear in time.

Is Facial Thread Vein Removal Right For Me?

Close Icon

During your consultation, your doctor or nurse will discuss your suitability for this treatment. Due to how the laser distinguishes colour, it may not be suitable for those with a darker skin tone.

Is Facial Thread Vein Removal Safe?

Close Icon

Absolutely. The laser targets only the unwanted veins, leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. You may experience some bruising or swelling after treatment, but this should subside within 72 hours.

Where On My Body Can I Have Treatment?

We offer Facial Thread Vein Removal on most areas of the face and neck. You can also have treatment for unwanted thread veins on your legs. Find out more about Leg Thread Vein Removal.
