I can't believe how fast I managed to get my moles removed, I had my treatment less than two weeks after my consultation
sk:n Clinics offers a selection of the most sort after treatments in dermatology.
Below you can find more information on some of our treatments that we provide at sk:n Fulham. Occasionally some treatments or procedures can even be carried out on the same day as a consultation.
Initially we would ensure that any current Acne was treated before we began treating any scarring caused by the acne as this would create an endless cycle of treatments and time taken to achieve results would be that much longer. If you still have acne present you can come to see one of our Acne Specialists for a consultation first to assess your skin and we will then look at treatments recommended to get the acne under control and how to help prevent more acne scarring occuring. Once we have cleared the acne we can then look into the options available to make your skin brighter and smoother with our superb Acne Scarring Treatments which range from skin peels, to laser treatments such as Fraxel and CO2RE.

Moles come in various shapes, sizes and forms, appearing almost anywhere on the body and are simply a collection of pigment cells present within the skin. Moles are caused by sun exposure and appear generally where the skin catches the sun mole. Some moles can appear in awkward places and can get in the way with the clothes you wear. Some moles are in places that you would just rather they weren't! And some moles are predominantly a health concern. What ever your primary concern is, one of our medical experts will take a closer look and discuss removal options with you. These treatment options are either to cut it from the skin, shave it from the surface or laser it at the root. Some minor scarring can be expected but this is minimal and will be discussed with you a consultation.
For more information on Moles and how we would treat them visit our mole removal page.
Birthmarks are usually present at birth or appear soon after. They are noticable in many different sizes, shapes and colours. The most common birthmarks can be treated at sk:n clinics.
Find out more about laser birthmark removal
- Pigmented birthmarks: Brown in colour, these are caused by a build-up of melanin under the surface of the skin. Associated names for these birthmarks are: Portwine marks, strawberry birthmarks, Hemangiomas
- Vascular birthmarks: Red or purple in colour, these are caused by a build-up of faulty blood vessels under the surface of the skin.
Warts can look unsightly and make you feel embarrassed about your skin, leaving you to spend half of your time hiding them in the hope they haven't been seen. Warts are caused by an over production of Keratin caused by a virus called the Human Papilloma virus (HPV) and are characterised by their white cauliflower clusters on the skins surface. It is easily caught through skin to skin contact or even simply from a towel or a walk barefoot along on the edge the local swimming pool.
A Verruca is also a type of wart that is found on the feet, they are flat with a thick edge which can be hard. Sometimes a black dot can be seen in the centre and& they can feel sore to the touch or when you stand. sk:n Clinics has several options available to get them removed and prevent the virus spreading further.
Cryotherapy, excision or laser removal are all effective treatments for taking action against the infection. Our Wart & Verruca Removal page will inform you more about the treatments we offer.
