Our Clinics have now started to re-open – We look forward to seeing you in clinic

 

In line with Government advice, we have started to safely re-open our clinics with a phased approach. A selection of our clinics are now open offering medical treatments only.

Your safety is our number one priority which is why we have worked in partnership with the Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) to create the industry best practice safety policy for our clinics ensuring that when you visit sk:n, you will be in safe hands.

Clinics open for medical treatments: Birmingham Harborne Road, London Harley Street, London Wall, London Victoria, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Northampton, Nottingham Mansfield Road, Southampton.

Medical treatments available at these clinics – Acne/Acne Scarring Consultations with a doctor, Doctor Consultations, Dermatology/Prescription Reviews, Leg Thread Veins, Mole Removal, Milia Removal, Rosacea, Skin Tag Removal,  Wart & Verruca Removal.

LATEST UPDATE FOR ALL CLINICS:

We are also pleased to confirm that all our clinics in England, excluding Leicester, will be re-opening the doors from 7th July. Our clinics in Scotland, Wales and Leicester will remain temporarily closed in line with Government advice. Rest assured, we are monitoring the situation closely and will update you as soon as we can on a re-opening date for these clinics.

As a medical-led business, the latest Government advice allows us to provide treatments that are for a healthcare purpose. With a Medical Director in our clinics, a healthcare professional is on hand to conduct a clinical assessment prior to starting any treatments. We are also proud to be able to offer our treatments in a clinical environment that is CQC registered. This is why we are able to welcome some clients back into clinic sooner than others.

For those clients and treatments that aren’t deemed a healthcare need, then we will be re-booking appointments for a later date when the Government advice allows us to do so.

We are committed to resuming your journey to better skin as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and we kindly ask that you are patient while we get everything back and up and running to full capacity safely.

IMPORTANT – Information for visiting clinics:

To ensure your safety and safety of our staff we will be asking clients to help follow below:

  • Please attend appointment unaccompanied.
  • Upon arrival, clients will be asked to wash hands and wear a face covering or mask.
  • Please do not bring personal possessions to the clinic. Please limit the wearing of jewellery. Wedding rings may be worn provided hands are kept clear from the face.
  • When the treatment is complete, client will be invited to wash hands.
  • Maintain 2 metre distance from other people in the clinic as far as is possible.
  • Clients to pay by card only or contactless, reducing contact wherever possible and cleaning card machines after use where necessary. If for any reason payment by cash is unavoidable, additional precautions, including hand washing, must be taken.
  • Attend appointment 5 minutes early.  In some instances clients may be asked to wait in their car until practitioner is ready to see them.
  • Clients will be asked to attend with no make-up for facial assessment and treatment and hair removed for laser procedures where appropriate.

Will delaying my laser hair removal appointments affect my results? Plus Icon

A delay in treatment will naturally delay the final results of treatment, however, you will still see good results. The results you have already achieved will not be reversed and once your treatment resumes you will continue to see further improvements. At sk:n we continually review the results of treatment to ensure that your treatment plan delivers the best results and we will continue to do so.

Our clinics are temporarily closed in light of the current situation with COVID-19 and government direction to close.

I have an active finance plan, will my payments still be taken? Plus Icon

Yes we will continue to collect direct debit payment. However we understand that financial commitments may be of concern during this time, please contact us if you wish to discuss your finance plan. Please do not cancel your direct debit as this will be in breach of your signed terms and conditions and will result in your account being in default.

How will my results be affected if I cannot have my Dermal Filler/Sculptra/Profhilo treatment at the planned time as part of my treatment programme? Plus Icon

In the majority of cases a delay of 2 to 3 months won’t affect the outcome of your treatment. It will just take longer to achieve the final results.

How to I purchase products while clinics are temporarily closed? Plus Icon
