You’re still in safer than safe hands.

21.07.21 – An important clinic update from our Medical Standards Committee

Following the Government advice earlier this week, we wanted to share an update on what this means for you when visiting us in clinic from 19th July in England.

As the leading experts in achieving skin confidence, your safety, and that of our team will continue to be our top priority and at the very heart of our business.

Whilst While legal restrictions lifting are is a positive step back towards normality, as a CQC registered business it is also vital that we maintain the safest conditions possible for our clients and teams, and we recognise that this next stage in the Covid-19 roadmap is not without risk.

Therefore, we will be following Public Health England’s guidance, which means our team will continue to wear PPE and follow our Business business Covid-19 safety risk assessment.

The Government has also confirmed face coverings can still be a mandatory condition of entry to medical settings, therefore in England, we will remain in line with the NHS and other private care providers and will require our non-exempt clients to wear masks for their safety and that of others.

We will also continue with social distancing within the clinics where our assessment of local risk indicates the need.

In our clinics in Scotland and Wales, we will also be enforcing masks in line with local government guidance.

Safety at the heart of everything we do

We continue to put client and staff safety at the heart of what we do. We continually review our COVID Safety Policy, team training and clinic auditing. We go above and beyond all required safety protocols to support our teams and enable them to work in the safest manner to protect themselves and our clients.

Please familiarise yourself with our guidance notes on what to expect when you visit our clinics as this will help to keep you and our clinic teams safe. Please also make sure to check this page regularly, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for on-going service updates.

From all of us at sk:n, please take care, keep safe and follow the guidance to ensure we all play our part in the fight against COVID.

*A doctor or nurse will determine whether there is a healthcare reason to start treatment after your consultation.

Will delaying my laser hair removal appointments affect my results? Plus Icon

A delay in treatment will naturally delay the final results of treatment, however, you will still see good results. The results you have already achieved will not be reversed and once your treatment resumes you will continue to see further improvements. At sk:n we continually review the results of treatment to ensure that your treatment plan delivers the best results and we will continue to do so.

How long will you be closed? Plus Icon

Our clinics in England, excluding Leicester, will be re-opening the doors from 7th July. Our clinics in Scotland, Wales and Leicester will remain temporarily closed in line with Government advice. Rest assured, we are monitoring the situation closely and will update you as soon as we can on a re-opening date for these clinics.

As a medical-led business, the latest Government advice allows us to provide treatments that are for a healthcare purpose. With a Medical Director in our clinics, a healthcare professional is on hand to conduct a clinical assessment prior to starting any treatments. We are also proud to be able to offer our treatments in a clinical environment that is CQC registered. This is why we are able to welcome some clients back into clinic sooner than others.

For those clients and treatments that aren’t deemed a healthcare need, then we will be re-booking appointments for a later date when the Government advice allows us to do so.

Why are the clinics closed? Plus Icon

Our clinics are temporarily closed in light of the current situation with COVID-19 and government direction to close.

I have an active finance plan, will my payments still be taken? Plus Icon

Yes we will continue to collect direct debit payment. However we understand that financial commitments may be of concern during this time, please contact us if you wish to discuss your finance plan. How will my results be affected if I cannot have my Dermal Filler/Sculptra/Profhilo treatment at the planned time as part of my treatment programme? Plus Icon

In the majority of cases a delay of 2 to 3 months won’t affect the outcome of your treatment. It will just take longer to achieve the final results.

How to I purchase products while clinics are temporarily closed? Plus Icon

We have an online shop and we are dispatching orders. However delivery may take a little longer than usual due to current situation with COVID-19, estimated time around 4-6 days. Click here to visit online shop.
