Thank you NHS from all at sk:n
We wanted to take a moment to recognise the truly inspirational and incredible work that the NHS is delivering during this very challenging time.
With our clinics temporarily closed, many of our medically trained colleagues are bravely supporting on the frontline, providing their expertise and best-in-class care services to the NHS in the fight against COVID-19. And we couldn’t be more proud of them.
Our Group Clinical Director, Dr Daron Seukeran, is amongst our colleagues working with COVID-19 patients. Keeping us all up to date, Dr Daron has recorded a message that we want to share with you as part of our extended sk:n family.
To help support our colleagues, the NHS and volunteers, we have donated our PPE equipment to the NHS to help keep medical staff safe so they can continue to care for those most in need. We have also returned all of our oxygen canisters back to the supplier so they can redistribute back to the NHS where it is needed most.
And a small gesture of our gratitude, we have given out some care packages to our medical colleagues to ensure that they are protecting their skin from the harsh impact of stringent cleansing and the effects of prolonged usage of protective masks. The care packages include sk:n CU3 Intensive Moisture Cream which contains copper, a viricidal agent that deactivates viruses.
Jacqui Webber, Managing Director of sk:n wanted to share her own words of thanks.
“We are immensely proud that our medical teams will be able to deliver the level of care we offer our clients every day to those most in need at this uncertain time.
“We want to support our colleagues, along with all frontline workers, in what they are doing to save lives. The work and commitment given at these difficult times is a testament to the standard of medical care we have in this country. We wish all frontline workers all the best and to keep safe and well, and urge everyone else to do their part by staying home to help ease the pressure the NHS is already facing, and to protect the vulnerable and elderly.”
From of all of us at sk:n, thank you to everyone working on the frontline. And to all our clients, friends and family, please stay safe, stay home and take care.
