Target wrinkles, acne scars & pigmentation, with ONE powerful treatment
We caught up with sk:n Cambridge’s Dr Nathan Holt, an expert in laser resurfacing, to find out how this versatile treatment can be used to target a multitude of skin concerns…
What is laser resurfacing?
Laser resurfacing is one of the most advanced skin rejuvenation treatments available and is effective in treating both superficial and deep skin problems, such as acne scarring, wrinkles and pigmentation. At sk:n, we currently offer the CO2RE; a carbon dioxide laser which is adaptable for both ablative (deep) and fractional (milder) treatments; Fraxel, a non-ablative laser designed to target wrinkles, acne scarring and pigmentation; and the Erbium Yag, which treats more superficial skin concerns and has a very short recovery time.
How does it work?
Laser resurfacing works by targeting and destroying damaged skin cells and encouraging new cell turnover, for clearer, brighter, younger-looking skin.
What results can I expect?
Laser resurfacing is one of the most effective rejuvenation treatments available and offers dramatic, visible results. Your practitioner will assess your skin and select the most appropriate type of laser for your skin concerns.
