It was great bring able to pick up on a cancellation appointment. Would have scored 10 but still waiting for a call to arrange a follow on appt with Dr Lewis.

Very helpful on first contact and dealt with efficiently through consultations etc.

The staff in the clinic are welcoming and professional. What lets the service down is a lack of clarity in the "selling" : I found the Sk:n website through Google, as many others will I'm sure. There is a slight whiff of "cowboy"ness around the website as it is not clear how much the initial consultation will cost, and what it involves. When I phoned the central reception, I had a feeling of calling a call centre, which again made me feel a little uneasy. Why is there a different scale of prices for the initial consultation? (I believe the website states "from £50", my consultation was about as straightforward and simple as it could get, and lasted no more than ten minutes, and cost me £150!) Fortunately I happened to book my consultation during a promotion period(!), meaning its cost was subtracted from the overall bill (if this hadn't been the case I wouldn't have bothered with Sk:n). Again, this was something I had to remind the reception at the clinic of, as there didn't seem to be any definitive record of it. Why not make the initial consultation a flat £50? Then, if you really have to charge as much as you do, you make the money up with the variable charge for the actual treatment. To be succinct : your clients (patients) are likely to be feeling vulnerable and need to feel implicitly that your company is trustworthy. Clarity and transparency is all!

My treatments have been fast, efficient and effective and I have total confidence in the Doctors. The receptionists are knowledgeable, helpful and very pleasant to deal with.
