Keeping your skin moisturised will help avoid your skin peeling and breaking out. However, be careful not to put too much moisturising cream on or it will increase the likelihood of pimples and dry patches on your skin. Also, be sure you choose the right oil-based moisturising cream with Glycerin as it will act faster on your skin.

Don't forget to take care of your lips too; a good lip balm containing SPF will help keep them soft and supple.

To ensure your skin is smooth and clean, exfoliate with a loofah to help remove the layers of dead skin and show off your new healthy skin. Be careful you don't scrub your skin too much though otherwise dry patches will start to appear.

For a radiant, blemish free complexion, a facial is highly recommended. Make sure you have one a couple of days before the big date as you might notice redness after the treatment. A facial will rejuvenate your skin by completely cleansing and replenishing it. If you'd like to learn more about facials or book an appointment to have one, contact one of our dermatologists at the sk:n clinic, who will be happy to help.

Use sunscreen

You might think that sunscreen is only for sun-soaked holidays but you'll be surprised at how the sun still affects your skin on a cloudy day in the UK. Indeed, applying sunscreen will help protect your skin from dry patches and also reduce acne.

If you want to know more about how to achieve beautiful skin, you can visit one of our dermatologists in one of our Skin clinics who can recommend a treatment that would be best suited to you.
