Quick anti-ageing fixes

17th July 2014

Some people prefer to avoid any signs of ageing being on show at any time of day, especially when they have important events, weddings and parties ahead of them. For this reason it's sometimes better to have knowledge of quick anti-ageing fixes that are available for us to try out in last minute situations particularly if we haven't recently had time to speak to an expert dermatologist.

Below is a list of some of the quick anti-ageing fixes for you to experiment with if you haven't already.

Quick anti-ageing fix one - make sure a moisturising make-up primer is included in your daily make-up routine

Skin experts advise us to dab a small amount of primer on our face after the moisturising stage of our daily skin care regimen. This process only takes approximately 2-3 minutes. It's useful because it prevents the moisturiser from rapidly escaping our skin and helps it look extra soft, youthful and lustrous within minutes.

Quick anti-ageing fix two - apply an eye mask at least two-three times a week

You can reduce the puffiness, dark circles and bags under your eyes by applying an eye mask at least 2-3 times a week.

This is a great quick anti-ageing fix, which only really takes 5-10 minutes but is guaranteed to conceal all the wrinkles under your eyes that you've been dreading for a long time. Make-up artists strongly recommend for you to invest in these because ageing apparently starts to show in the eyes first before any other parts of the body.

Quick anti-ageing fix three - spray water on your face

Beauty gurus have also suggested for us to spray water after we've applied some foundation on our face. The next step would then be to spread the water over affected areas that are starting to show wrinkles ensuring to use a dry make-up sponge. "The water will blend your foundation more seamlessly and prevent it from settling into lines" says Make-Up Artist Troy Surratt.
