End of Exams, it's Time to Party
01 May 2013
It's that time of year when everyone's exams are finally coming to an end. For those of you at university this could well be the end of exams forever. All those months of hard work, stress and staying indoors studying are finally over, so it's natural that you may want to celebrate and finally spend some time with your friends.
If you're coming to the end of college or university it will be a particularly emotional and significant time in your life, as many of you will be moving away. This is likely to mean making the most of socialising with loved one which might mean parties, and lots of them.
Socialising with your friends often means drinking, and at times when emotions are running high and you're letting off steam, you can be forgiven for partying a little bit more than usual. But, as with every time you drink it is important to make sure that you don't go overboard. The next morning can leave you feeling a little sensitive not to mention regretting some of your drunken actions.
This may sound a little extreme but some unfortunate people have been known to get tattoos after too many drinks. In fact, a recent study found that there was strong links in young adults between binge drinking and body art. The study found that those with tattoos had actually drunk more compared to those who didn't have tattoos. This research could be due to a number of other factors such as the culture of people who are allowed to drink more and religious reasons.
