Tips on anti-ageing
10th March 2013
We are told by the professionals that in order to look after our skin properly we should really start using anti-aging cream past our teens. Here at sk:n clinics we know how important it is to look after your skin to keep it looking youthful, so we’ve offered some tips.
Get Your Beauty Sleep
We can't stress enough just how important your sleep is to the quality of your skin. A lack of sleep can result in puffy eyes, dark circles and most importantly an unhealthy complexion. Sleep gives our skin time to rejuvenate and repair itself from the daily toxins that play havoc on our skin. UV rays and pollution in the air can attack the skin causing it to look tired and unhealthy.
Limit Your Skin Exposure
Last month here at sk:n clinics we launched our successful R UV Ugly campaign, which highlighted to us the damaging effects of sunbeds on our skin. The harsh UV rays count for 90% of premature skin. Luckily there are many foundations and face creams out there with built in SPF factors so it's important you do your research.
Protect Your Eyes
The skin around our eyes is very sensitive and must be looked after with upmost caution. Neglecting to wear sunglasses in the sunshine can lead to squinting, which over time can cause serious damage. The damage and lines created around our eyes, commonly known as crows’ feet can give away our age but there are several ways you can get rid of them. Here at sk:n clinics we offer microdermabrasion treatments and Botox injections to help you combat the signs of aging.
