Hairstyles at the Brits
28th February 2013
As to be expected in a room full of talented, creative individuals there was quite an array of different hairstyles floating around at the Brit Awards last week.
Never one to let us down when it comes to eccentricity and flamboyancy Paloma Faith had a three toned up do giving her a firecracker look. Amongst others, Perrie Edwards of X-Factor's winning girl band Little Mix was rocking a daring lilac dyed look, complete with oversized floral headband.
Award winner Emeli Sandé is renowned for her bold statement hair, a striking platinum blonde which compliments her skin tone. Being naturally dark haired, what we want to know here at sk:n clinics is how she keeps her body hair in tone with her hair. Of course it could be a little ridiculous to insinuate that Emeli dye her arm hairs blonde to coordinate with her hair. We're not suggesting that, but more eluding to the fact that blonde hair and dark arm hair isn't the most natural of looks.
Recently on Instagram Brit Award winner Rita Ora was criticized for having hairy arms. When uploading a photo of herself wearing a bangle, she received harsh comments about the appearance of her arms rather than the attractiveness of the bangle. Dark hairs clearly show up more than fair ones, but with laser hair removal which is particularly effective at tackling dark hairs, there is no longer anything to worry about.
If you're particularly self conscious about hairy arms, or like poor Rita have even had it pointed out by others, then come in to a nearby sk:n clinic for a consultation.
