Tricks to Looking Younger
19th August 2013
Charles Dickens once said "Cheerfulness and contentment are great beautifiers and are famous preservers of youthful looks." So how can we go about looking and feeling younger?
1. Focus on the Positives
Don't bog yourself down with fad diets or look at images of young slender women and feel like you need to compete. Sometimes just embracing your shape and size is key to being beautiful. However, what happens when you work hard to lose the weight and are left with loose skin after weight loss and are too self conscious to flaunt your new figure? Well don't worry as our treatments could help you regain your confidence.
2. Less is More
As you get older, a less is more attitude is advisable when it comes to make-up application. Applying lots of thick heavy foundation can actually result in making you appear older, as foundation can creep into fine lines and wrinkles on the face. If you're looking to get rid of your crows's feet or tell tale lines then we can help.
3. Keep Your Hair Current
As you get older, your hair not only starts to turn grey but also thins out losing its volume. For this reason, as you age it's a good to adopt a funky bob or stick to short choppy layers, change your colour and generally experiment. It goes without saying that having the same hairstyle for twenty five years is going to leave you looking dated.
4. Be Edgy
Have the confidence to experiment with your make-up and try keep on top of trends. Ditch your summer pink lipsticks for some darker reds and keep on top of new products especially for older skincare.
5. Teeth Whitening
It's amazing what a difference having your teeth whitened can make in shaving years off you. Over time our teeth can become stained from daily cups of coffee and red wine, losing their original pearly sparkle. There many over the counter products to choose from including teeth whitening toothpaste to combat this.
