Dr. Ooi graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School with Honours in 2006. She then worked in various hospitals across NHS Borders, NHS Lothian and NHS Fife in acute and general medicine before undertaking her dermatology specialist training in Edinburgh in 2010. She was appointed Consultant Dermatologist in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in 2015.
Her practice covers all aspects of dermatology, including acne, eczema, psoriasis and other rarer inflammatory skin diseases in both adults and children. She also has a keen interest in the diagnosis and management of skin cancers. She performs skin surgery for skin cancer and benign growths or moles, including facial surgery.
